Overview
This webinar will give attendees a blueprint for conducting effective compliance investigations,
from A-Z. Given that responding to detected offenses are included in the Seven Elements of an
Effective Compliance Program as deemed by the Office of Inspector General (?OIG?), this
presentation is intended to provide strategies and tips for conducting and documenting
investigations in a manner that can be defended should a complaint be made to a government
agency. To help illustrate an effective investigation process, Mr. Anstine will walk attendees
through a real life situational example.
Why should you attend this webinar?
With the increasing potential that someone could complain to a government agency alleging
non-compliance by your organization, there is an increasing potential the government agency
responds with its own investigation. Typically, these government investigations will not only
address whether the organization was non-compliant, but how the compliance officer
responded if the issue was first reported to him or her. Given that documentation is a critical
factor in any government investigation, attendees will be provided a consistent framework for
documenting their investigations.
